The information you send and receive over the network or Wi-Fi will count towards your Smartphone’s plan. Data that is matched to and from a tablet over a Wi-Fi network won’t incur charges.

It also includes Driving Mode, when it is turned on, the app will turn off incoming audio and pop-up notifications and send an auto reply saying that you are driving and you will soon reply. This feature can be edited or turned off from the settings; but it is only available on android. You can also turn on auto Glympse, with this your location will be shared with anyone who is on your white list contacts.

You can also schedule messages to be sent at a specific date and time up to 1 year later, the unsent ones are stored until the delivery date and for up to 90 days after delivery.

This feature is the default application an all android Kit Kat devices. On some devices it does not replace the native texting service. You can easily switch between these texting apps. Information sent or received in one app will also appear in the other one.

To improve your communication experience you can use cloud to back up all contacts from your primary Smartphone to Verizon cloud. This also allows your contacts to be synced on any device or web. To make sure your data is synced on your devices, they store it for up to 90 days. When you delete info from one device they discard it from servers also.

Deleting this service from a device or switching to another, won’t stop the storage of data unless you unsubscribe to integrate messaging from the settings.

Remember that this technology is not designed for secure transmission or storage of personal healthcare information. Hence, it must not be used to store or transmit protected health information (PHI) as defined in the health insurance portability & accountability act of 1996 and the health information technology for economic and clinical health act of 2009.
